50 Healthy Toddler Meals

Need some kids meal inspiration?

You’ve come to the right place.

Now, I know our kids aren’t going to enjoy the same foods but remember this is for INSPIRATION. You can always sub anything out for something your child prefers.

To make things simple for myself, I prepare all my groceries in one day and warm up our meals throughout the week. That means we can all have whatever we want for dinner AND I only mess the kitchen once per week!

I always shop at big chains or online markets so that everything is pretty affordable and easily accessed no matter where you live. Ill always reference where you can buy these items.

I AM NOT ENDORSED FOR ANY PRODUCTS I RECOMMEND.

Enjoy!๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿ‘ฆ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ“

The laundry HACK that will save your life….

If your like me; you’ve spent most of your life with piles of laundry. Sometimes the piles are dirty and sometimes they are clean.

Regardless, I didn’t have my laundry under control.

There were also numerous issues

1. Sock pairs were non existant

2. One person in the house needs clean clothes so now we have to search through stinky laundry to find outfits.

The list goes on and on.

HERE’S HOW I FIXED IT๐ŸŽ‰

Sort .Sort. Sort

I happen to have a larger laundry room so I have 6; Medium-large baskets.

8 if you count the ones in the rooms

IM NOT CRAZY, LET ME EXPLAIN๐Ÿ˜ต

Baskets 1-4 stay in the laundry room. They are for each person living in the house.

Basket 5 also stays in the laundry room and holds sheets, towles, and blankets.

Basket 6 never gets washed. It’s for clothes that do not fit and need to be stored away or donated.

Then the other 2 are for each bedroom.

How does this system work?

Im glad you asked

As the laundry fills in the bedrooms they are brought to the laundry room and put in that specific persons bin.

As each bin is washed seperately, the dry clothes can be brought directly to that persons closet.

What’s great about this, is that when one person has an event, sports, work, ect. That persons bin gets done in one load and they are able to retrieve what they need.

Socks are no longer missing in a sea of clothes. One person will always get their socks back after their bin gets washed.

Clothes that are too small don’t get continously washed and put back into drawers. It’s stored so that when it gets full you are ready to throw it in a bag and head down to goodwill.

HAVE A SMALL LAUNDRY ROOM?

No problem. There’s a few things you can do to tweak this.

1. Walmart or target has very small sized laundry bins. They can easily be stacked away in a corner when your not sorting.

2. You can also do a basket for every bedroom instead. Ex: 1 bin for husband and wife. 1 bin for siblings who share the same room.

3. Hang bins on the wall! Pinterest has tons of ideas for doing this yourself for a reasonable price.

Hope you enjoyedโค๐ŸŽ‰

5 Nutrient Dense Juices That ACTUALLY Taste Good!!

When your juicing for the family, you gotta have a balance of flavors. If I made all leafy green juices, we would probably waste most of it. PLUS, if you want your picky-eaters to drink some, you gotta stay diverse.

Your juice will stay fresh longer when stored in a glass container. It’s a good idea to label the containers with a dry erase marker. The ingredients as well as the date.

You can keep juice up to four days in the fridge. I made juice up to the levels you see in the picture above and then added water to the top.

You can use them as to-go juices and bring them along to work or out and about. You can also get a glass and fill a 50/50 ratio of juice and water for a lighter, healthy beverage.

Apple

Sometimes, more is less! I always keep at least one simple, one fruit juice. This is for my picky eaters at home. Sometimes you gotta just have FRESH plain ole apple juice.

I use the dark red apples. They are the sweetest and go on sale often.

Beet, Apple, Carrot

This is such a energizing blend. This is a nutrient dense yet extremely tollerable juice. Even the little ones will like this one!

50% apple juice, 40% Carrot Juice, and 10% beet juice. This ratio is very important to the taste. Beet can have a very strong flavor if overused.

Dragonfruit, Mango, Carrot

This juice is LIFE! We cannot get enough of this juice in our house.

50% mango juice, 30% dragon fruit, 20% carrot juice

Pineapple, Blackberry

YAAS! Blow your senses away with this amazing combo. You will NEVER buy store bought juice again! One small case of blackberries one quarter of a pineapple.

Cucumber, Spinach, Carrot, Blueberry

Got to get your greens in there! You wont even taste it in this juice.

15% spinch, 20% cucumber juice, 30% carrot and 35% blueberry

DIY Sugar Scrub

Don’t spend upwards of $30 on a store-bought scrub. Make an all-natural version at home for a few bucks or less. You might even already have most of the ingredients in your kitchen! Follow the 3 easy steps below and create dozens of different combinations

Step 1: Choose your scrub base

-Sugar

-Salt

-Himalayan salt (coarse or fine)

-Brown sugar

-Epsom salt

All of these will have a similar effect. Make your choice based on the consistency you want for your scrub.

Start by pouring the base into the receptacle until it’s 3/4’s full

Step 2: Now pick an oil

-Avocado oil

-Almond oil

-Vitamin E oil

-Coconut oil (the best choice due to its antibacterial properties)

How do you like your scrub? Scrubs you see in stores are typically drenched in oil. I personally feel that much oil leaves too much residue.

Slowly pour the oil into the base until it reaches your preferred moisture level. I make some drier (like wet sand) and some more wet (like melting snow)

Step 3: Choose your EXTRAS๐Ÿ˜

-Coffee grounds

The caffeine in the coffee grounds eliminates cellulite over time and improves circulation

-Citrus peel

Peel tiny slivers of Lemon, lime, orange, or grapefruit peel into the scrub for an AMAZING smell and texture. It also looks pretty!

-Essential oils

Essential oils have so many health benefits when applied topically. Adding them to your scrub not only makes a lovely smell but you also recieve the added health benefits of the oil. Some oils we recommend for scrubs would be orange, lavender, carrot seed, vetiver, rosemary, lemon, lime, or mountain savory.

FUN TIP: Add Peppermint, Spearmint, or Eucalyptus oil to add a cooling effect to your scrub. Don’t add too much! only a few drops are needed.

-Castle Soap

Adding a natural, plain soap will give the scrub a “whipped” look. Its also great for those that don’t like to apply oil to the body and would rather have a cleansing effect.

-Tumeric

Not only is turmeric detoxifying to the skin, It will also add a “glowing effect” to the skin. It works kinda like a bronzer but won’t bleed. Only use a few teaspoons or it can turn the skin temporarily orange.

-Cinnamon

Cinnamon will add a warming effect as well as incourage circulation. This is great addition for a fall scrub!๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‚

-Flowers & Herbs

Mostly for looks, adding herbs and flowers like rose pedals, rosemary leaves, or peppermint leaves will give your scrub that photo finish. It also adds to the smell too.

I have two great formulas (pictured above) that I will share in case you are still unsure of what to make.

The scrub on the left is coconut lime. I used regular white sugar, coconut oil, lime peels, and vitamin E. I made this one more saturated in oil than the other.

The scrub on the right it my all-time favorite. No matter how many scrubs I come across this one is always finds its way in my shower. I use a mixture of brown and regular sugar along with, coconut oil, vitamin E, ground coffee, tumeric, and orange oil. SOUNDS WEIRD. I KNOW. The smell of coffee and orange reminds me of the breakfast table in the morning. The coffee reduces cellulite on my legs and butt. The vitamin E and coconut oil is a great combo for the ultimate moisturizing effect. The tumeric acts as a bronzer and gives my skin that beautiful glow. I make this scrub drier than the other, much like wet sand.
